The alpine stage of the Tour de France is arguably one of the most visually, and literally, breathtaking sections of the prestigious racing event. In 2020, Méribel were host to the highest climb of the event at the Col de la Loze summit of 2,304 metres. Spectators, cycle enthusiasts and hotel guests alike, were treated to the spectacle as riders whistled by our doorstep on their way to the finish line. Hotel Grangettes were even host to two of the competing teams!
In 2023 we are excited to be welcoming back “The world’s biggest sporting event”. The Col de la Loze will once again prove to be the highest and most spectacular point of the race where the prestigious Souvenir Henri Desgrange award will be at stake.

Plan your road cycle with a GPS map and take on the Col de la Loze this summer!

E-Biking

Allowing you to go further, higher and longer than before, the mountains have never been more accessible than on an e-bike. Perfect for experienced and beginner cyclists alike. Méribel boasts an astonishing 58km of E-MTB routes ready for you to explore! There are six routes designed specifically for E-MTBs, split into three green and three blue. Alternatively, you can retrace the steps of Tour de France athletes along the 20.5km Courchevel e-bike circuit – climb 930m to the Col de la Loze for a once-in-a-lifetime panorama, before descending to the picturesque village of Courchevel, and finally returning to Méribel via the Altiport forest.
Never tried E-MTB, but want to?
